Iliad

Iliad

Below you will find thirteen black and white illustrations for Homer’s Iliad. You will find depictions of the Judgement of paris, the fight between Hector and Ajax, Hector’s funeral, and more. They come from the book The Story of the Iliad. The book was written especially for younger readers in 1902 by Edward Brooks. Brooks also wrote a version of The Odyssey and you can find similar illustrations in the galleries for Odysseus and The Odyssey. If you like these drawings, you might want to visit the pages with images depicting scenes from The Fall of Troy or the one for Ancient Greek Myths too. Enjoy!
