Squid

Squid

Below are eight color and black and white drawings of various Squid. They come for several old books. The color illustrations, in particular, are from the book Cephalopods Living in the gulf of Naples by Jatta Giuseppe. It was published in 1896. Apparently there are more that 300 species of these cephalopods. Here you’ll find examples of the Southern Short-Fin Squid, the Veined or Long-Finned Squid, and several more. If you like these illustrations of Squid, be sure to check out the pages with Types of Octopus and other Sea Creatures. Have fun!
