Roman Myths, a blend of borrowed and original tales, served to explain the world and Rome’s rise to power. Heavily influenced by Greek myths, it featured Romanized versions of gods like Jupiter (Zeus) and Venus (Aphrodite) who influenced everything from love and war to agriculture and wisdom.
