Pagan Gods
Here you will discover twelve extraordinary black and white images of Pagan Gods. You’ll find images of deities from Egypt, Assyria, and Etruria, to name a few. They come primarily from the book Ancient Pagan and Modern Christian Symbolism. The author is Thomas Inman, and it was published in 1884. According to Vocabulary.com, original pagans were followers of ancient religions that worshiped more than one god (polytheism). Today, the word pagan, although not commonly used, describes someone who doesn’t go to a synagogue, church, or mosque, and possibly has no interest in God at all. If you find these drawings useful, be sure to check out the pages with Pagan Symbols or Goddesses, which are also from Inman’s book. Enjoy!
