Stations of the Cross
On this page are twelve richly colored illustrations showing the fourteen Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross, or Way of the Cross depicts Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and the path he traveled to Mt. Calvary. Along his final journey, Christ is helped by Simon, sees his mother, Mary, and is consoled by women of Jerusalem. These drawings are from the book Beautiful Pearls of Catholic Truth published in 1897.
