Small Dog Breeds
On this page are eight precious color illustrations of some Small Dog Breeds. You’ll find a Yorkshire Terrier, Papillon, Chihuahua, and more. They are from the book Dogs by James L. Cannon which was written in 1940. American Kennel Club officially recognizes around 60 small dog breeds. Generally, a breed is classified as “small” if its typical adult weight is under 20 to 22 pounds (around 9–10 kg) and its height ranges under 14–16 inches.
