This selection of Old English Style Letters are from A Hand Book of Mediaeval Alphabets and Devices. The book was written by Henry Shaw in 1856. The letters are derived from a 14th century altar cloth in the church of St. Mary in Soest in Westphalia. You can see in the original pattern (Image 10) that they were part of a design that had the individual letters in decorated diamond shapes. I removed them and also added the letters J, U, and W, which were not present in the original set.
