Japanese Legends
On this page are nine wonderful illustrations for a group of Japanese Legends. There are pictures from stories such as The Death Stone and The Legend of the Golden Lotus. They are from the book Myths and Legends: Japan by F. Hadland Davis, which was published around 1915. Unfortunately, the name of the artist is not given. These images are not the best quality due to their age, but I have tried to bring out their beauty.
