Floral Border Designs
On this page are a set of six black and white Floral Border Designs adapted from a children’s book called Solomon’s Little People: A Story about Ants by James Crowther. The book was published in 1882. The floral border designs were used as headpieces for each chapter. They feature dragons, rabbits, butterflies, dragonflies, and birds among flowers, swirls, and flourishes.
