Family Shields
On this page is a set of six black and white Family Shields. They bear roses, crosses, fesse variation, lions, and other beasties. They are from the 1911 edition of Encyclopedia Britannica from the entry “Heraldry” by Oswald Barron. If you like these family shields, you might also want to view the Medieval Coat of Arms or the Heraldic Symbols galleries before you depart. Enjoy!
