Heraldry Symbols

Heraldry Symbols

Here is a compilation of six sets of four shields showing Heraldry Symbols used in the Middle Ages. There are cross variations, trefoils and quatrefoils, and variations of trees and plants. They are taken from the Eleventh Edition of Encyclopedia Britannica published in 1911. Click on an individual image to learn more about each design. If you like these Heraldry Symbols, I invite you to also view the Coat of Arms Clipart and the Family Shields galleries. Enjoy!
