On this page are ten delightful black and white Images from Pompeii. There are drawings of Bacchanalian Dancers, a painting of of the Foutain of Mercury, Sedent Apolo, and several more. They come from the book Pompeii – Its Destruction and Re-Discovery with Engravings and Descriptions of the Art and Architecture of its Inhabitants by J. P. Gandy, which was published in 1880. The artwork was primarily done by Sir William Gell. If you are enjoying these drawings, you can find more in the galleries with Pictures of Pompeii, as well as Pompeii Italy. Have fun!
