Erechtheion

Erechtheion

I don’t know why, but I have a heck of a time spelling “Erechtheion” correctly. And to top it off, I have also found it spelled “Erechtheum” in some of my old books. At any rate, here are six black and white images of that lovely building, the Erechtheion located on the Acropolis in Athens, where the beautiful Caryatides hold up their burden forever. If you enjoy these illustrations, you’ll probably also appreciate the galleries with images from other Ancient Greek Temples as well as more of Ancient Athens. Να έχεις μια όμορφη μέρα! Have a good day!
