you will find hundreds of beautiful images gleaned from my collection of old
books, magazines, and postcards. They are all from material printed prior to
1923 and are in the public domain.
FREE IMAGES :: You don't have to buy any of the images here; they are all free. However, a few are available at a higher resolution for purchase. If you don't see a "Buy" link, then just grab the image and don't worry about paying for it.
TERMS OF USE :: I hope you will enjoy using these pictures. You are free to use them in your artistic endeavors, either privately or commercially. My only request is that you not sell or give away the images themselves either individually or as a collection. I spend a lot of time searching for and buying the source material, scanning, fixing, and editing the images, and then putting them on the web. By respecting these simple terms of use, you allow me to continue providing wonderful artwork that would remain hidden between the covers of these books, decayed from age, or tossed into landfills.
