Sculptural Wall Art ~ Dreamcatcher
This sculptural wall art was created from the book titled Dreamcatcher. The title inspired me to use this doll, who unfortunately was missing the lower part of her left arm. I created the niche that she is standing in by cutting, tearing, and singeing the edges of the book. On the left side is a cage of butterflies, and this doll holds the key. I also used text from an old hymnal, wire, thread, an optical lens, vintage images, copper nails, butterfly charms, an old spoon, quail wire, and a holy medal. The back side has a wooden frame and wire that allows it to hang flat on the wall.
