Found Object Sculpture ~ Vision of Light
Vision of Light is a found object sculpture that was created using a book title Vision of Light. This poor doll was missing both its legs, as well as all its hair, so I decided to replace her lower body with the vintage light fixture and plug. Other found items in this piece include vintage images, wire, thread, an optical lens, copper nails, matches in tiny vials made for watch parts, a holy medal, and text from an old hymnal. The back is reinforced with a wooden frame and strung with picture wire which enables it to hang flat on a wall.
