Assemblage ~ Dark Angel
This assemblage was created using a book titled Dark Angel. It is part of my six piece Broken Doll series. This particular doll was missing both of her arms, so I replaced them with feathers. I carved out a niche for her. She is held in place with red thread and copper nails. The image of the angel is by Gustav Dore, and it is also titled Dark Angel. Other items in the piece include and text from a hymnal, wire, an optical lens, and a holy medal. The book is supported by a wooden frame in back and hung with wire, so it can hand against the wall.
