Mixed Media Art Work ~ How Well Do You Remember?

This collage, painted in shades of violet, was inspired by the beautiful vintage postcard of the two little girls holding a basket of flowers. I carried the theme of childhood into the background, using a page from an old arithmetic book with its wonderful title, numbers, and text. Each piece of collage mixed media art is done on a small canvas and utilizes various papers as well as acrylic inks, paints, and oil pastels.
