Wall Hanging ~ Silent Angel
The idea for this wall hanging was in my mind before I found a book to go along with it. I envisioned folding the book pages back in order to form wings. And when I saw the book The Silent Angel on the bookshelf at my library’s used book sale, I knew it would work perfectly.I used pearly white paint mixed with German glitter to create the shimmery white wings. They are outstretched giving the appearance of a book ready to fly right off the wall and into the heavens.
This piece is supported on the back with a wooden frame, and strung with picture hanging wire, allowing it to be hung flat on the wall of any room.
