Maybe while clutching a sword in her right hand, she held a medallion in the other. Something a peasant handed to her as she passed through the town. An expression of thanks for taking up their cause.

This vintage postcard of Saint Joan of Arc has been accented with gold leaf. She stands beneath an intricately carved archway painted turqoise and gold and adorned with amber gemstones and a gold embossed sheer turquoise curtain. Gold paper scrap creates the border.

On the left, a holy medal is stitched to the same shimmery blue fabric. Turquoise and gold beads are strung and adhered around the relic.

The cover is wrapped with handmade turquoise paper and decorated with gold paper and a vintage floral arrangement.
