ABOUT THIS ORIGINAL ART:: This unique piece was inspired by a chapter from a book of the 1800's called The Perfect Woman. Vintage text and images of men, beasts, and machinery gently poke fun of the author's view of men during that period of time. The surface is highly textured using layers of gesso and discarded fabric and interesting paper fragments. Glazes of quinacridone gold and napthol red were used to produce the strikingly bold, rich colors. The finest paints, inks, papers, and other media were used to create a one-of-a-kind art piece for your home or office.
