ABOUT THIS MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS :: This collage was inspired by the beautiful vintage postcard images portraying friendship. I carried the theme of childhood into the background text, using pages from old arithmetic books with their wonderful titles and geometric shapes for the backgrounds. Each piece mixed media piece utilizes collage of various papers as well as acrylic inks, paints, and oil pastels.
