Artist Web Sites for Karen's Whimsy

Here are some links to my favorite artist web sites.

Artist Web Sites

Ingrid Dijkers

Contemporary fantasy dolls, collage dolls, altered books and journals.

Deb Trotter :: Cowboy's Sweetheart

Deb's lovely new site features mixed media art, mainly collage and shadowbox/shrines, based on an Old West theme. She uses vintage photos to explore the myth and nostalgia of the Old West. Her site includes an artist page, links, and two gallery pages.

Ann Baldwin's Art Studio

Ann is a wonderful abstract artist who offers classes in the Bay Area and beyond.

Jonathan Talbot

A collage artist and painter, Jonathan's web site showcases his beautiful artwork and his method for "glueless" collage. I had the pleasure of taking a class with him in 2003, and he taught me a lot. You can read some of his inspiring comments about art at Words of Wisdom by Jonathan Talbot.

Claudine Hellmuth

Claudine Hellmuth's web site has a portfolio of wonderful collage art. She occasionally teaches classes, and she sells rubber stamps, too.

Nita Leland

At Nita Leland's colorful web site, Exploring Color and Creativity, lots of articles and tutorials to help you with collage and other art techniques.

Keith E. LoBue

Keith offers incredible jewelry in the form of small mixed-media assemblages.

Teesha Moore

Visit Teesha's web site to see her wildly original and colorful artist journals, rubber stamps, and more.

Dale Copeland

Dale is another talented assemblage artist.

Shirin Kouladjie

Although Shirin has suspended updating her site, you can view years of incredibly mind-bending flash, traditional, and digital collage work in her archives. I can spend hours looking at her work.

Julio Mateo

Metaphysical paintings. Abstract, metaphysical art galleries on sacred geometry, nature, and art's spiritual relationship to cosmic creation.

Just Artist

An artist directory with an extensive list of links to resources and information at Just Artist.
