Pirate Drawings

Warning! This page holds twelve black and white Pirate Drawings, and several of them are extremely violent with depictions of torture and death. Please don’t scroll down if you think that they will upset you. They show pirates such as Black Beard, Captain Kidd, Henry Morgan and others during the Golden Age of Piracy, which was from the late 1600s to the early 1800s. Although they were often feared and hated, they also captured the imagination of people around the world. These images come primarily from the book Captain William Kidd, and Others of the Pirates or Buccaneers who Ravaged the Seas by John S. C. Abbott. It was written in 1874. If you find these Pirate Drawings useful, be sure to visit the galleries with more Pirates and Pirate Costumes. Enjoy!
