Acrylic inks were used to dye the colorful paper strips that weave through the white glossy surface to make one of my cheeriest hand-painted wall hangings.

ABOUT THE BOOK SCULPTURES :: The hand-painted wall hangings that I create are book sculptures using altered books. Each piece is inspired by the title of the book and designed using acrylic paints, inks, mediums, and pages taken from the book itself. The books are supported on the back with wood, and strung with picture hanging wire, allowing them to be hung flat on the wall of any room.
