The Celts

The Celts

Located below you will find over thirty-six galleries with more than 400 images exploring The Celts in color, black and white, and sepia tones.

The Celts were a collection of tribes, or clans, which originated in central Europe. Although separate tribes, they had similar culture, traditions, religious beliefs, and language in common. They lived during the Iron Age, between 600 BC and 43 AD and were spread out over Brittany, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Cornwall.

There are well over 400 pictures in this album that show examples of Celtic Arts, including the iconic Celt Knots and Celtic Crosses, and Symbols of the Celts.

You’ll also find illustrations pertaining to Druidism and Stonehenge, as well as the Celtic People and more Celtic Culture. Researching and preparing all these images was like falling into a rabbit hole: once I started, it was hard to stop! I hope you get as much enjoyment seeing drawings from the Ancient Celts, as I did. Have fun!
