Although I was not raised in a religious home, I am drawn
to religious imagery, particularly Christian images of female saints
and women. I collect vintage Christian art postcards of angels, madonnas, and
nuns and enjoy incorporating
them
into my Christian art collages. The backgrounds are often created from discarded
hymnals or other religious texts. Using spiritual themes in my art allows me
to make
an
immediate
