The title page with the copyright information is missing, but this looks like the first in the series although not the first edition copy but a reprint. An advertisement in the back of the book says that the price per volume was 60 cents postpaid.


The caption reads: "The limp wallet fell from her hand. -Page 100." The plate is signed by the illustrator and dated 1909.
